A Holiday Break

My girlfriend and I are currently at Denver International Airport preparing to embark upon a series of flights with the final destination being Hong Kong. When we arrive, we will hook up with my parents as well as my younger brother. My brother has been living in Asia for the past few months, so my family decided to take the opportunity to spend the holidays out there with him. As such, posting at Liberty Blitzkrieg will occur infrequently and sporadically over the next few weeks.

I haven’t truly disconnected from the non-stop 24 hour news cycle since the summer of 2010, when I drove cross country for six weeks, and I haven’t left the United States in over five years. This is a once in a lifetime experience for all of us, so staying up to date on current events and writing will, for once, not be a priority. However, I am very excited for 2015, during which one of my main focuses will be to launch a podcast.

Over the next few weeks, I plan on posting when I come across something interesting and I have a free moment. If you haven’t signed up to be on the email list, this might be a good time to do so. That way, when I do write something you will be alerted immediately. You can sign up on the right sidebar of the site:

The last time I took some time away to travel and reflect, I drove across America and my experience was so impactful that as soon as I returned to New York City I broke my lease and moved to Colorado. I have no idea what this journey will bring, but I’m heading out with my eyes, heart, mind and soul wide open.

Till we talk again.

In Liberty,
Michael Krieger
